Set your DVR. On Sunday, July 19, from 6 AM to 9 AM, there will be a broadcast event on the Golf Channel called "The Open for the Ages". Apparently, it will replace The Open Championship this year. It will be a "re-imagined" Open Championship at St. Andrews. The winner will be determined by some type of statistical analysis and voting. I have very little interest in this fake tournament. Do others plan to watch it or think it is a good idea?

Thanks for the heads up, it sounds interesting especially since it's at the Old Course. I'll stick my neck out and predict that Nicklaus wins by one over a large contingent of second place ties, that includes Hogan, Woods, Palmer, Watson and maybe even a few more.

Jack Nicklaus defeats Tiger Woods by one stroke. I watched part of it, but it felt weird watching an artificial golf tournament.
