Was Jersey Mikes closed off 466a? We stopped a week ago but now see they're opened.

It was closed for about a week, but it is now open.

Maybe someone tested positive? Starbucks on 466 had that happen and had to shut down then reopen with limited hours and are now back. Same for Starbucks in LSL. They have been on limited hours closing at 4PM all this week because there wasn't enough help due to issues connected with covid in other stores.

I stopped going there - no masks or social distancing even though they advertise touchless pickup. I miss them, but not worth the risk involved.

There was a thread a while back about no mask on the person making the sangwiches that day. Not good. Maybe they got snagged for some kind of violation. (Sangwich is the N.J. version of Sandwich)
It's my favorite place and I can't bring myself to go back now.
Hope everyone there is OK now.

Try WaWa, order & pay online, set pick-up time, get it & go. Great hoagie @ a fair price

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered two subs from Jersey Mikes, paid online, and expected to walk in, pick up, and go. Two youngsters behind the counter with their masks down, pretty much ignored me, even though I was standing under the ONLINE PICK UP SIGN. I finally said who I was and they said they were out of wheat bread and didn't make my order. They had my money, my email, and my phone number. No contact from them. I waited for them to make my sandwiches with another bread, then left.
Several posters on TOTV love Jersey Mikes. Great, never again. When you have worthless management and children running the store, you get exactly what I experienced.

Please don’t let this business fade. Our favorite subs come from Jersey Mikes

Just got a sub. Everyone had a mask and the sub was great.

I thought the touchless pickup was great. I ordered by phone and there was a bag waiting on a table just inside the door.
I didn't get within 15 feet of any of the employees.

Love Jersey Mikes-It was closed due to remodeling-NOT the WUHAN Virus-I go to both local places-clean and great subs-I have never seen a mask off any of their staff. Don't start BS rumors

Was just there yesterday. All wearing masks and asked a customer to leave who wasn't wearing one. They reminded the 3 of us inside to keep 6 feet apart. Maybe they closed that 1 day to train all "the kids". If that was it, they did a great job.
Give business some slack about running out of the bread you wanted, I had it hapoen at Paneras, ordered to go on my way to work. They didn't make my breakfast sandwich because they were out of the bagel I wanted. They didn't call me either, I was late for work, they didn't offer me even free coffee and I was wearing my work uniform so it was obvious I was on my way to work. My point is, did I never go back because of that? No, people don't always handle orders the way we'd like, get over it. It was one time.

It was closed for remodeling not because of covid. The one up in Spanish Springs will be closed also for remodeling. Enjoy they are the best subs in The Villages!!

Wawa on RT 301 in Oxford shut down for two days a week or so ago due to two employees with Covid. They had to sanitize the place before they could reopen.

Jersey Mikes is not an authentic NJ submarine made with real Italian bread like the White House Sub Shop or Sack O Subs or Tony’s Baltimore Grill...proof is there are hardly any Jersey Mikes that are actually in New Jersey.

Not sure about FL but I believe it has to be posted on the front window, near the door, if it's a closing due to a health violation in PA.

Sorry, wrong spelling is just wrong. I come from NJ and I know how to spell correctly.

They refurbished the interior. That was the reason for closure.

I go to the one on 441 near Target. The employees all wear masks and gloves. I have been there multiple times and everytime they had on masks.

FYI, both stores are owned by the same person.

According to their website there are over 50 locations in New Jersey. There is ONE White House Sub Shop, so I guess according to the applied logic White House is also not an "authentic" NJ shop.

Nothing like raining on a parade. But how are kids to learn unless management teaches them.

I Agree. Went there and none of the food handlers had masks. Sent an email to the manager. He never responded. We stopped going. Too bad, the food is good but not worth getting sick.
