ESPN Seattle radio host Paul Gallant a few weeks ago commenting on the summer of love at CHAZ and mocking those who said it was dangerous

"Walked through it last night out of curiosity and saw no burning, pillaging, or deaths, . Chill dawg,"

Then yesterday:

Came home to my apartment complex. The Starbucks underneath has been destroyed, and cops are telling us to stay away in case something explosive is inside.

Great Job ********

Unrelated, there’s a fire a few blocks from me which had me freaked out when I saw it from the highway. Zero clue what’s going on, but the cat and I are g’ing t f out

I feel like I need to buy a firearm, because clearly this is going to keep happening. Enough is enough. It looks like a block party down the street from me. Really angry right now.

A while ago there was a black NBA reporter that was very supportive of BLM protests, power to the people etc and then the rioters came into his gated community.

He also changed his tune abruptly.

Wonder how many places have to be destroyed before the powers to be think that law an order is a good thing. Especially when it is their property being destroyed.

The way I see it, the Feds are all talk and no action. They are putting on a show, but they don't seem to be accomplishing anything. This is David and Goliath, and David is winning. The Feds say are arresting people, but, I think they are just releasing them. What good does that do?

At this point, the Feds are still afraid to use force ... uh, of the superior firepower type force. Until that happens, the riots will continue. Everyone kind of already knows that and people on both sides are waiting to see if anyone will pull the trigger, metaphorically speaking.

Many governors and mayors don't want the feds involved at all. Doesn't matter, most of those arrested get released on orders of local politicians.

But, the Feds say they are making numerous arrests. The local politicians can't order the Federal Government to release Federal prisoners. Why don't we see any names and mugshots of these people arrested by the Feds? And where are they being held? I think it is a scam.

Being arrested gives people bragging rights, which many protesters crave. Remember how many old folks in Washington are still bragging about “marching with Dr. King in Selma.” For one day. Then back on the bus and head north.

I think that for the cops, arrests are mostly to get the loudest people or the people throwing things away from where the action is so things can calm down. They know perfectly well that most of these people will be released without being charged, much less convicted, much less doing time.

All it will take for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing. All that is necessary for the forces of evil to take root in the world is for enough good men to do nothing. All that is needed for the forces of evil to succeed is for enough good men to remain silent.

The Posse Comitatus Act (1878) restricts the actions of the Federal Government to enforce domestic law and policies within the United States. This act is used in conjunction with the Insurrection Act (1807) which ensures that the Feds cannot intervene without without the consent of that state’s governor or legislators.

The Feds can still intervene via FBI and all of the other federal agencies which is apparently what is being done now.

Maybe the local law enforcement should take action to quell these outbreaks first.

None of this maters if they are protecting the destruction of Federal property.

These mayors/governors have lost control of their children.

...

even police SWAT teams and riot control teams aren't trained or adequately staffed to deal with what is going on in these big cities

the Feds are caught between a rock and a hard place on this one...this is a lose/lose situation for them

the mayors are clue-less...they are totally unable to deal with this...they're just sitting back watching their cities burn and get trashed hoping it all just goes away

It takes courage to be a leader...not seeing much courage outside of Texas right now

Almost without exception, riots in other parts of the globe are not related to the ongoing Marxist takedown of the United States. They are occurring for other reasons, from the "yellow vest" protests in Paris, to Indonesian protests against a draconian criminal code, to CCP crack down on Hong Kong. These people never heard of George Floyd. That event was the "trigger" for this Marxist movement.

The mayors have already done this and they are local.
