I am looking for someone who can build and finish end tables. I cannot find what I want at any of the local furniture stores. We are new to The Villages and just learning our way around. Thank you for any referrals.

The Amish Furniture Store in Wildwood may be able to do what you want. A friend had a sideboard built for her china, and it is beautiful. We had table pads made, they were reasonable and delivered quickly.

You will need to search on-line for someone outside of the Counties.

Wood Creations by Bruce Russell - Home | Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/BruceRussellWoodCreations)

I've seen a lot of his work....he is quite the craftsman and a great human being

He's in the Belleview area which is just north of TV

Maybe contact the Woodworking Club? They have some talented folks there and I understand there are some that do contract work.

Another thought, Wood You Furniture, 1510 SW 17th St #200, Ocala, FL 34471, Phone: (352) 732-6611. While they don't actually build it, and they advertise as unfinished furniture, they put together some really cool stuff. We had them put together three major pieces, including a 14' wall unit and they finished it.

Hello, I like Louis Xv furniture. I buy on eBay & Live Auction. It took me 3 years to finally buy everything (?) I wanted. Don't be in a rush.

The Villages Woodshop does have talented people. However, we do not take projects like the one the author wants, building new furniture...because we do not compete with established businesses...and we do not work for a fee or profit because we are a 501C corp. That said, we do take repairs of existing furniture in exchange for a nice donation. However, at this time the shop is closed and we are not taking any repair projects.

(352) 630-8015 Rick Wixted. He builds anything to your specifications. He has built many things for myself and probably 8 of my friends. He is currently building me a table. You wo t be disappointed he is here in Fruitland park.

OP, have you tried a Google search for KIT furniture, this may get you what you want, and then it would be just finish sanding, staining, and sealing.

We recently found a side table on Overstock.com for about $300 that was just what we were looking for for the glassed in lanai. I needed something simple but pretty with drawers and open shelving to hold my art supplies.

Overstock.com: Online Shopping - Bedding, Furniture, Electronics, Jewelry, Clothing & more (https://www.overstock.com/end-tables.,/k,/results.html?SearchType=Header)

I would also browse Kirklands and Wayfair too. There are many, many choices available on line and not many skilled carpenters anymore.
