Anyone know of any local gunsmiths that they would recommend?
Yes, I'm aware that Shooter's World has a repair / gunsmith department, but imo their fees and hourly rate (if memory serves me correctly somewhere around $75-$100/hour?) are insane.
I have a couple of rifles I need re-finished.

The gunsmiths at SW are great guys. They can do alot.
But if you need extensive refinishing...its HNr in Inverness...complete gunsmith that can do alot more than SW.

Might check with The Gun Store on Hwy 44. Bet they can recommend someone.

JB Guns in Bushnell refinished a buddy's shotgun. They did a great job.
