You can save thousands on each cart by buying out of state and having them shipped in. PM me for a dealer one state over.

I wouldn’t buy new one, IMO you never get you’re money back. There value drops like rock just like new vehicles. Plenty of used ones for sale in classified for at least half price Or more few years old if you can evaluate the condition? Non golfer cart would be better IMO. If not then maybe new better choice?

I bought a 2020 Yamaha from Bargain Carts in Hains City for $7,800 plus tax and they delivered it for free. I had to install the side mirrors with turn signals which I got from Amazon.

I think Steve was the salesman and they only have one salesman. I picked my color and they have a lot the options.

We are getting ready to buy 2 carts. What are the pros and cons of different dealers? ThanksBuy from The Villages cart stores. Yamaha Factory Warranty. Yamaha Factory wiring, not some kid in the back shop doing a non-factory wiring that has no warranty. Think, would you buy a new car and have a back yard mechanic wire it for you? Of course not! Service in The Villages that you can drive to at 4 locations. We all know "You get what you pay for".

No one has mentioned Atomic Cool Karts in Wildwood. The carts are manufactured in China and are not designed for large people but for most are a great alternative to a Yamaha with a cab. You get electric windows, air conditioning, heater, windshield wipers, radio, back up camera, and remote controlled locks with your fob. Love mine.

Carts & Clubs on 301 just before you hit Ocala city limits were about $600 less when I priced new Yamaha carts vs the Villages Carts. However, many of my friends have bought refurbished Yamaha carts from Birdie golf on 466 across from Hacienda Mission Villas and have been very satisfied.

We have two. We have one that is now 18 years old that was used and still perking along fine with good maintenance and repair and we have one purchased new from The Villages. Our resident expert makes the choices about golf carts and I handle world affairs. So far his decisions are doing better than mine.

My cart came with everything except the Sunbrella (spelling) and mirrors. They added the Sunbrella for I think $400 and I put the mirrors on for about $35. I got custom reclining seats with armrests for $800. The Villages charges $1900 for the same seats and they get them from the same place.

Yep, The Villages Golf Carts are convenient and that comes at a cost.

This was my experience. I saved thousands and picked my colors, fabric and options.

My neighbor spent over 16k for his and could've got the same cart with the same options for about 12k.

I have nothing against the Villages selling golf carts and having a large territory that keeps out the competition for the Yamaha carts. They can sell them for whatever they want. They add quality parts to a great cart and I recommend them to anyone not worried about cost over convenience.

After looking at many of those mentioned, we went with Carts For Less. They remanufacture carts from the ground up to your specs, gas or electric, lots of options, 1 year warranty. Enjoying our cart, which doesn't look like the others. Very pleased with the service - and saved us about $3,000 over new. Showroom/workshop at 2281 US Hwy 441/27, Fruitland Park. 352-801-5925

High depreciation on a new cart. Buy a used one that was originally built and sold by Villages Golf Carts. Self canceling turn signals, easy fold up rear golf bag cover, better led lights and rear view mirrors

Think, would you buy a new car and have a back yard mechanic wire it for you? Of course not! Service in The Villages that you can drive to at 4 locations. We all know "You get what you pay for". I just brought a new 2020 Yamaha at the Spanish Springs store, I looked outside first, prices maybe a little less, but not that much, and after I got some discounts I paid less then out side and got some things the others didn't have. I also got a Certificate from Yamaha showing I had a new 2020 cart and not an order model made to look like a new one.
Sharon Starr was my sales person I highly recommend her.:ho:

I purchased my new 2020 Yamaha from Country Village Power Equipment in Webster a couple of months ago. Worked with Steve and Carolyn. Great experience from start to finish. Saved over $3000.00 compared to the "local" dealers. Came equipped with the same "El Tigre" high back custom seats. Picked my own colors. Factory wiring. Cart was delivered to my driveway. Same Yamaha factory warranty and financing as the other dealers (they are Yamaha Factory dealer). Called them a couple of weeks ago to set up my 30 hour service. A very nice and competent mechanic came to my house and serviced the cart in my driveway for $60.00. Didn't have to leave the house or wait in line with other people. Highly recommend them, just about 20 minutes south of Fenney in Webster (across from Flea Market).

I agree with Gerry. Carts and Clubs in Ocala. Better deal than in TV. They bring it to you and service in your driveway.

Ditto ! Much more for much less. I lived in this area before we retired and built a
home in The Villages. Believe me, item for item, brand for brand, this is not the best place to buy if you don't want to over pay. If looking at used, ask a lot of questions and make sure you understand the subtle difference in terms: refurbished, reconditioned, etc. Also be aware, a "reconditioned" cart, a "rebuilt cart" does not guarantee the the replaced parts are brand new either. The faulty starter in a trade-in that has been "refurbished" may work just fine, but it may be one from another trade in. If that makes a difference to you? Many use good condition used parts in their automobiles, so it may not matter to you. People buy rebuilt carburetors all the time, you just want to do your home work and make sure you do not pay new prices for "reconditioned" parts.

Best deal we got was for the one we have now. Club Car from Georgia. Club Car delivered to our home in same shipment they were making to deliver a fleet to a course near Orlando so no charge at all for dropping one cart off for us. Club car dealer anywhere can service since a national brand, so no problem there, just much lower price than the options here. But, also very satisfied with our 2 Yamaha's we've had through the years, toss up which is best. IMHO both brands have performed well. All were gas, only had ONE electric, that was a long time ago and once was enough, easy to pouf gas into a vehicle in minutes, hard to go get a can of "electricity".....LOL.... as an old golf course superintendent told us when we were buying our first cart many years ago. That thought stuck ! LOL ! Also, gas is about as simple a system as a lawn mower, not so electric, unless that's your skill area of course. Electrics have sure improved their mileage range since we had one, but as I said, one was enough, it's such a personal choice for sure, no one can tell you what is most important to YOU, but they will try LOL ! Don't like chargers, I can add fuel anywhere with a gas cart. Others would never consider gas, each has to decide what matters to them. But do shop around no matter what. Think you'll be surprised at the price difference for EXACT same model and the extras you desire unless you limit your shopping to inside The Villages, then about the same price and same (rather low ball) trade in offers compared to outside too.
