Have any of you installed shades in your lanai lately? If so, what can you tell me what to look for and what to avoid. What company did you use? Thanks in advance.

Material & Warranty & Referrals.

Look at the cloth material as well as the frame. Metal frame only.

How long are the warranties on the materials & motors.

Really check out the referrals..............not just recent installs, but five years ago.

We ended up with CoolBreeze.
Not because they advertise on ToTV (I always about these advertisers), but because of the above items.

Good Luck.

You can get manual or motorized shades. Many choices and colors. Great family company. Would recommend highly.

We used Joy’s Blinds. Other companies had the same materials and prices were comparable. They did a nice job with the installation. I would suggest you purchase the proper amount of light blocking. Having a valence makes it look nice.
