Got an email through Talk of the Villages from josephcorrea1919@gmail.com saying he was interested in buying furniture I have posted. It's a scam. Do not fall for it.
It involves getting a certified check for your goods, by mail, sight unseen. Sounds good , do yourself a favor steer clear.

It's a pretty common scam on more expensive items posted on craigslist . "buyers" are always unavoidably out of town but will be sure to send a certified check and then arrange transportation for pickup. Before moving here from Atlanta I placed several items on craigslist and one day received three nearly identical "offers" on the same item from three different emails.. i then sent each of them a common email introducing them to each other and suggested they must all be out of town traveling to the same place.. Any future postings had the words cash and carry, with future pick up offers just erased.

Tried it with us yesterday. Was going to send us a cashiers check for the merchandise and was going to send the movers to pick them item up. BS
