Anyone use Humana Medicare Advantage or any other plan offered by Humana for supplemental health insurance?

My wife and I have Humana Medicare Advantage. We have the plan with no monthly fee. We don't have the RX plan. There are co-pays but they are not unreasonable. We travel north for the summer and have most of our Dr. appts. there. So far no problem. I don't know if that will change with the upcoming health care legislation.

Good to hear. Do you have Medicare Part D for RX? Does your plan cover Dr. appts up north?

Thanks,

We had humana in Pasco County, but that exact plan is not availbale in these counties so I switched to Preferred Care and am very happy - plenty of doctors, specialists, etc... with Preferred. Husband is in middle of medical situation that requires going back to Tampa area to see specialists so he stuck with a Humana plan. There are very few primary care humana doctors, the one who we hoped to see told us it is a 6 month wait for a new patient appt. Not good at all. So, he switched also, Preferred is easy to work with and assure us that he'll be able to see his doctors in Tampa for a few more visits. Humana is great in soem counties and not so good at all in others. That's my opinion.
