Welcome! I’ve been here full-time for five years, and had the same issue. Discovered that if I use Tilex Mold And Mildew spray about once a week, it keeps everything looking good. Be careful, as I believe it contains bleach.

One thing that helps to keep it clean is to have a bottle of "daily cleaner" in the shower and spray is on the walls and floor after every use.

We use Tilex and the services of a very nice, thorough cleaning lady. Due to arthritis the wife and I can't get down or our knees and scrub anything.

We use our shower/bath cleaner and a sponge mop - haven't bent over nor over reached in years!

I have found Shock it Clean from HSN works incredibly well. Absolutely amazing product. It will clean just about anything including the hard to clean floor grout.

Kaboom Foam spray, just spray and let it set, no scrubbing, let it dry by itself I purchased it at WalMart in Summerfield, tried all the others, including one at Ace Hardware, this one by far is the easiest to use and will do he job, please while this is wet, it will make the shower slippery, so use it after taking a shower, exit and spray it.

Tile Grout E-Z Scrubber Complete Brush , it’s o a long adjustable handle like a floor mop and Clorox clean-up with bleach. I leave both in my shower and do touch ups when needed. The grout brush is very stiff and can be removed to use on the wall grout. I got the brush on amazon for $27

Tiles and a spin brush for great cleaning is what I use. Find them online or at bed bath beyond

For deep cleaning it, I use a mixture of Baking soda (1/2 cup) and white vinegar (1 cup), spray it all around the crevices and leave for about 1/2 hour, then just rinse, I do this twice a week. For everyday I have a squeegee inside the shower and when I finish taking a shower, I just wipe the water from the door. Hope this helps you.

Ace Hardware has a swivel grout brush that can be screwed onto a telescoping handle. Amazon also has them.

Yes spray cleaners work well.
We use a squeegee after every shower to “Wipe off water” and hand towel dry (this takes an additional 7 minutes)
Once a month we use the spray cleaners and rinse.
Once a year: I seal the grout and tile With 511 impregnator (Home Depot, Lowe’s and Amazon) (Ace night have it too- haven’t checked there yet) they have spray types as well (they smell though)
I have used this method for 15 years... Never get mold, no film on shower doors. They always look new.

Buy a spray can of Bang at Dollar tree for cleaning grout and just about anything. It's an amazing cleaner and definitely the best Bang for your buck! I also run my floor steam mop over my shower and even bathtub which definitely makes them sanitized and a lot cleaner.

sometimes the daily sprays can build up, so i got a scrubber attached to a very long adjustable handle/pole that i use sort of like a mop to get the floors & areas i cant reach. (they had them @ walgreens, Libman was the brand i think.) it's great for all kinds of household jobs

I would suggest getting a cleaning service. My wife and I retired to The Villages and have decided to get "services" to do the work around the home - lawn mowing, lawn fertilization, etc. I have found that there are "reasonable" services for about everything. We have a cleaning service come in about every two weeks - partially for the reason you mention.

We bought a "scrub brush" with a long handle at Lowe's (or Home Depot). It looks similar to a push broom. I can still scrub the floors, but I don't have to get down on my hands and knees anymore. We also use Tilex where the floor and walls meet. Finally, we squeegie the tile walls after every shower, which allows us to not have to scrub the tile quite so often. I hope this helps.

Squeegee the glass after each shower. Other than that it never seems to get dirty which is hard to believe. So I spray wet-n-forget once a week and let it do its job. Occasionally wipe down the walls and floor with a non-scratch sponge. Only been in the house since March but so far the shower looks new.

I totally agree. I told the wife that part of our bargain on moving to TV was that I wasn't going to be a field hand for the yard. With our arthritis, hard cleaning of the house wasn't in the cards either. The cost for these services isn't much at all considering the freedom it gives us.

Mold Armor is great stuff. Absolutely try it. I'm the shower cleaner in this house and I give it 10 stars.
