me too...for years I go to a hill top far away from any lights hoping to see quite a show
when I finally went home I felt like Charlie Brown waiting in the pumpkin patch all night for "The Great Pumpkin" to appear

Not every year is a banner one. The moon can affect viewing as well as the time you go to watch them. I found that the best viewing is after midnight with no ambient light. I went up to the middle of Wisconsin to see the show each year. And what a show it can be.

Too many lights in the village of Bonita to see much.
Going to have to find a close place to go to in order to view in the future.
