Fishing tours in the Gulf

Hello fellow Villagers. We have visitors coming in September that are interested in a fishing trip in the gulf- does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks

Although The DeepSea Fishing Club of The Villages has suspended all meetings and charters due to the virus....there is a phone number listed (352.445.6611). In the past the club had a number of monthly charters on both the gulf and the Atlantic...so they should be able to help you, if you can reach them

We did a bus trip for gulf fishing, I was disappointed, 2 hours on the bus, 2 hours on the boat to get to the fishing area, very few fish and small, moved to another location about the same total of about 2 hours fishing, 2 hours back to shore, and 2 hours back to TV, will not do it again.

Went with Crystal River Charters • Inshore & Offshore Fishing • High Octane Fishing (https://highoctanefishing.com/) a couple of years ago and was satified with the experience.
