Who else is simply amazed re the technolgy that SpaceX developed to land the expended rockets after launch - either at the Cape or an ocean barge? And catching the Payload's fairing after its jettisoned.

I recall the first time I saw a SpaceX rocket landing on its 4 legs - like dropping a pencil and it lands on the eraser straight up....:shocked::22yikes::22yikes:

SpaceX just launched another rocket from the Cape, and yep - recovered it yet again. amazing.

Amazing how much better private industry is in getting thing s done than the govt.

Nasa did great early on and than became another typical govt agency.

IMO NASA contract out about everything to good old contractors that skim billions with old school results. Space X will be leader in space Industry, unless p-o-l-I-t-c-al influences the usual government contracting.
