We love our kart, but the dealer has us over a barrel when it comes to maintenance--I wonder if any of you have had any experience with this?
The new batteries cost us $1200; then a "harness" had to be replaced last year ($495). Now the battery "Charger" went out and it cost $780 to replace that. I wonder if we have any other kart repair people in TV who can work on these things or are we stuck?:faint:

I have had 2 Atomics. My first Coupe was (IMO) a disaster WRT batteries (you got a good deal, mine were $1800+ because they were supposed to be high capacity) but the cart was a "demo" from another dealer before Atomic opened their own place so I really couldn't blame them (yet).. The 2nd set from Atomic went down hill (was getting about 30 miles on a charge) in ~9 months I sold it but got another Atomic This one has the lithium batteries. ZERO problems. Been about 20 months & over 8000 miles now with no issues and battery is (so far) solid.. The only gripe/concern I have with Atomic as dealer is they are the only game in town for these carts so I hope and pray that they sell lots of them because if they go away it becomes a throw-away. I doubt anyone can or will service them. Their owner is very knowledgeable but I did have issues with their sales guy at the time of the 2nd purchase.

Didn't buy it strictly for the A/C (I rarely have ever used it) but for the safety features like doors and a real solid frame and 3-way seat belts. Basically it saved me from buying a 2nd car which would have been MUCH more expensive. It was street legal but I just had it "decommissioned" because I was tired of paying as much as my new car for insurance. $70 is much better.

. Yes. You can actually find them on ALiExpress but good luck bringing one into the country and transporting it here unless you buy 'em by the container pay fees, taxes, transport .... much better buying them from the dealer. ATOMIC is their sticker name, they are just various private labeled Chinese low speed vehicles. You definitely want a local dealer here for you if you own one.
