Does anyone know of a good, reliable home care service that could help with bathing an elderly gentleman?
Both Granny Nanny and Visiting Angels are good, but private pay and expensive. This is not a service covered by Medicare. Some private insurances may cover part of the cost, I am not familiar with that. Most of the private agencies have a minimum of 4 hours and range in the 21.00/hr range. Both of the above are reliable agencies.

Ask to speak to the hospital’s social worker. They know every resource around.

I used Caregiver Services Inc. for my husband. They are in Summerfield. Rates are less than $20 per hour, 2 hour minimum.
