I need advice on what to do with the front kitchen nook other than table and chairs.

See the recent thread about dining nook in Gardenia. Begonias and Gardenias are nearly identical, except Gardenia has two windows and no golf cart garage.

How does one find the "thread" ? I tried a search with: gardenia, dining nook as the key words, it only turns up this same post to "see the recent thread" ?

We placed a large desk with a hutch in that nook. Works well for us as an office space.

I’ve seen it done with an added wall and doorway turning the nook into a Large walk in pantry

Our friends have a Gardenia with a golf cart garage. They have two pretty wicker rockers and an end table in theirs facing the kitchen.

We added a 2 seater small island and a row of upper and lower cabinets on one wall. I wanted the extra storage and counter space.

We bought a furniture piece with storage and then decorated around it.
Get a lot of compliments on this and it works for us.

See posts 29 and 33 in that thread. We had a pantry with coffee bar built in that area. We took the chandelier out and made it a pot light. I don't have a picture of it head-on, but it looked very nice and added so much storage.

We turned our nook into a little office area with matching cabinetry and granite. Love the extra storage and desk.

We converted our Begonia breakfast nook into an office, obtaining the same cabinets as in the kitchen and adding them to wall adjacent to the window. I'd be happy to provide a photo if you'd like. Later, we had a solar tube installed where the nook chandelier had been located. What a difference!

I got rid of kitchen set and placed an area rug with 2 upholstered chairs and a round coffee table. I love it! I've also seen a fireplace on one wall and a chair and side table. I hope that helps.

Interesting to see how people have set up their space. Thanks all

What do you like to use the space for? You can make it a craft area, a reading area, a wine bar, a sewing nook, an office, a pantry, the most important thing is making it into something you are going to "use" not just fill the space and never enjoy it. Have fun!
