We were excited to read the announcement about a Dairy Queen coming to this location. There has been no information since.
Anyone know the status?

We ventured out to the one in Leesburg yesterday afternoon.
No indoor dining.
People on outside tables.
6-8 cars in line at the drive through. Moved right along.
Used credit card.
All employees in masks.
Napkins wrapped around each item.
Nice new facility.
Safely done!

I have no interest in Dairy Queen, but I would suspect that a lot of planned restaurant openings are being either delayed or canceled with the what's going on.
Many restaurants are closing and chains are closing underperforming stores because of the restrictions now in place. I can't imagine anyone considering opening a restaurant right now.
Hopefully for you Dairy Queen fans the opening is only being postponed.

Anyone know the status? A large Aldis is going in on that corner and something else but I don't think what I saw recently mentioned the Dairy Queen. Culvers on 466 has great ice cream, but not all the goodies like DQ.We definitely need more ice cream around here! Over by Loews or Winn Dixie plaza 466A would be good too.

Wasn't there a DQ on 466 in front of Publix? I wonder why it closed.

Aldis to corner of 466 and 301 (across from WaWa).
Dairy Queen to corner of 472/Rainey Trail and 301 (diagonal across from gas station/Subway).

Poor management. Same thing for the one that was on 441.

The reason it closed simple lack of business. My opinion there Ice Cream is terrible especially compared to " Carvel ".
The chocolate ? It is milk chocolate with a slight taste of chocolate ugh.:ohdear:
