When I rent I get a temporary ID card that entitles me to use all of TV's amenities, just as if if I were an owner.

I notice owners have a more permanent ID card with a photo.

What about year-round renters? If they have a 12 month lease, do they get a picture ID?

Interesting question, I am a year renter starting month 3, I do not have an ID card yet since I have not used any of the amenities yet. I plan to get one within a week or two. The owner of my unit said that I need my driver's licence whenever I use the ID card so I am assuming there is no picture for non-permanent residents.

To me it makes no difference as long as I get entry and amenities usage when desired.

I am a year-long renter & my ID has my picture on it. Good for 3 years. My landlord had to go with me to get the gate cards but I didn't get an ID card until later. I think I took a paper that she had filled out.
