I was wondering how safe the new Lofts will be for personal golf carts. Do they have lockable garages or is it all just outdoor spaces?

You can pay for garage space. Otherwise cart is sitting outside. But you might contact the lofts directly for prices.

Actually garage space is very limited and expensive. Most of the parking that is available will be outside left to the elements. Underground parking would have been a nice feature, but the cost would have had to be past onto the leaseholder. With the price structure that they have, impossible.

The cost of an apartment is also expensive especially when you start adding up the so called " Additional Benefits " . You had better be seated when the final cost is broken down.

The Lofts? The phrase their is no such thing as a free lunch is a perfect slogan for " The Lofts ".

Already toured the lofts for parents. The one bed with balcony (view extra$300) plus amenities, tv, cable, trash, came to $1950. per month. Outside parking (there are about 5 garage per building)

But if you were living one of the apartments in TV independent living, you parked outside, no meals, cost started at $4000. So better deal. We know 2 couple that moved there from independent living, for half of their previous rent.

Do you know if they raise the rent every year and by how much?

Yes they said rent would increase by 50% every year. :1rotfl::1rotfl: (need a sarcasm sign ) no mention of renew rate. Like any rental you would not know rent increase until your renewal

That's ridiculous! Even California has a maximum limit it can be increased.

Please let’s wait a year before we start all those rumors about the family gouging the renters and evicting old people in wheel chairs , theres , plenty of other things to be negative about on this site, save that one for next year

Slightly off topic. Drove into Brownwood via the Powell entrance the other day. With the apartment buildings already standing and under construction, plus the new office building, it felt like the canyons of Manhattan, unfriendly, boring. No longer charming, to say the least. The sun was even blocked out.
