Difficulty serving Par Car Golf Cart?

I've heard there is difficulty in servicing Par Car electric golf carts outside the dealership. Independent mechanics lack interest due to the difficulty with getting parts or for some other reason unknown to me. Not sure how true this is. I'm finding used ones available that are reasonably priced. Wonder why?

Southern Cart Works has serviced my Par Cart. I was told that many service providers for carts have a hard time getting parts for Par Carts.

Have had a ParCar for 6 years, required no major service to date (batteries excluded). We do let the dealer service it every couple years but we also use Todd Casey (352) 465-3934. Not a lot to service on electrics, rotate tires, check brake wear, occasional bulb change. Have not replaced any "parts" so not sure what you would replace.
