as I 'age' the days/weeks/months seem to fly by.
It's OCTOBER!!?? yikes.
and, at least for now the TV weather is fantastic...cool mornings less humidity no 90's..
and, no tough storms or hurricanes yet for us in TV - about 2 more months to go.
and, thankfully, 2020 is almost over - 3 more months until the end of a rough year.
and, Christmas displays will be out in stores soon.
I will not be the first to mention Snowbirds. promise.

October will bring a super spreader event, Trick or Treating, albeit not in TV. Two things we don't have here are Trick or Treat and baby showers.

Agree, even since I retired time flying by. This year has been hell on Earth with pandemic and two party bickering. :)

Hmm was going to buy a large bag of snickers telling the wife the kids are bused in and figured keeping the rest for me.
Hope she does not see your comment.

BJ's in Clermont already had Christmas trees on display Sept 28th.... (way too early in my thinking)
When I was a real young kid there were a few school summer vacations that seemed to last forever (most likely my mother's thinking too)
now the weeks, months and years just fly by

You can say that again.
Only last week I was 25 years old, and today I found out I was over 80!

There's actually a psychological theory about that:
When you're 8 years old, with a memory back to say age 3, 1 year is 20% of your accumulated lifetime memory span. When you're 53, it is 2%. At 103 (God forbid) it's 1%. So time seems to fly.

There are several theories out there. The one I use is the toilet paper theory. Life is like a roll of toilet paper. Early in life the roll turns slowly and diminishes in diameter slowly. Over time the roll turns and reduces in diameter ever faster.

Sam’s Club had Christmas things out by the beginning of August. I guess the first store is more likely to get the purchase. Still, it is NOT beginning to look a lot like Christmas. However, I HAVE been practicing “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire” on my guitar. Just in case.

"Christmas" is already out - at Lowe's. Sad.
As for how fast time flies: Live is like a roll to toilet paper - the closer we get to the end the faster it goes.
Stay healthy.

Now THAT should be great incentive for them to hold off,,, but they won't.
