Turn on the TV, turn on the Radio, read Newspapers, Books even listening to people in the streets and I hear the same words over and over and over!
And that over-used-word to me is: Racist :yuck:
What is your Word or Words?

I’ll respond with 2 of my favorite words during this mess we call 2020: maskhole and covidiot.

I personally don’t feel they are overused. I use them quite often (mostly under my breath).

Two phrases that I wish people would stop using are:

"First and foremost"

"At the end of the day"

The word I hear over and over and over is "coronavirus". Not to say it is over used but it is currently the most hot topic of the day.

Good one. How could we forget that everything starts with "soooo" nowadays?!?

Here's another one, mostly from cable TV:....... "Look"

Speaking of cable TV talking heads, have you noticed how they all sprinkle "ah" in their statements, every few words? It's so widespread and done with the same pacing that it seems fake --- like they're coached to put in an "ah" every few words for some reason.

I’m with you. I have always hated it when (mostly politicians) start a sentence with LOOK. It’s rude and condescending. Also I hate hearing “ I will fight for you.” I would rather hear “I will WORK for you”. Fighting is what’s has gotten us into this mess. I wan.t someone who will work for me.

Yep. Sick of hearing these words. And no one even knows what they actually mean. Just some people throwing them around looking for pity. But to get rid of them?
1). Get a job
2) wear a mask
3). Dont break the law

Remember the "Polar Vortex"?
Other overused and misused words:
Decimated ...means 10% (as in casualties)
Hero ... means putting your life in mortal danger immediately without thinking, in order
to save a life. Heroes are few ...very few among us.
