I just received the following private message:

Doctors unaware of the after Covid 19 delirium don't give seniors the same treatment (ventilators) as seniors who are cognitive. Please read AARP for this article in Sept. Article 25 may be a necessity. You can recover from the delirium which is good news for you and your loved ones, but we don't need delirious people leading our country. This could happen reguardless of the party affiliation.

Did anyone else get this? I don't appreciate getting private political posts.

Not that, but I get many texts from my-new-best-friend politicians and their cronies. It doesn’t help to report it as spam and block.

I think I did!!! I sent it to talkofthevillages@gmail.com. I also gave them the TOTV name of the person that sent it to me. I believe that person has been a member for a long time but has only done 2 posts. So not at all active.

LOL! we get renewal requests for my late mother in law from AARP whose health insurance she used. . . evidently there is no systemic coordination of living versus dead members at AARP

You can contact AARP and asked for her name to be removed from their listings.

It doesn't sound like this was a widespread PM/spamming. We will take this offline and deal with the OP directly.

Thanks, everyone, for your feedback.
