Does anyone know where I can get the following in or near The Villages:
1/ a bone density test (Dexascan)?
2/ Evenity injections for osteoporosis?

If you have a PCP (primary care physician) ask them, they should be able to provide you with this info. Florida cancer (?) near The Villages hospital does various infusions and may be able to help.

Lake Imaging has done my bone density scans but you need an order from your doctor.

I had my most recent bone density (I think in May or June or there-abouts) at the Specialty Clinic by the hospital. My rheumatologist ordered it. I don't know about the shot you asked about. My sense is you need a primary dr. and start from there with your answers.

My rheumatologist ordered my bone scan and had it done at Lake Imaging Sumter Landing and I think she does osteo injections.
