I saw a couple responses last year but I'm seriously considering switching from Verizon to Spectrum Mobile by the gigabit plan. I know that Spectrum is a MVNO and the risks with that arrangement but it sure looks enticing. If you have switched how was the transition process and has anyone had experience with their customer service after switch? I have no interest in any other provider since the Verizon network is important to me.

If u r a comcast customer you can get their mobile plan by the gig. The plan I have includes i gig and cost about $17/mo and they use the Verizon network

We are considering switching to xfinity which is part of comcast.

In the past we have found the tech people at Verizon very helpful. Especially at their sales office on 441.

Now they are pretty much useless other than trying to sell phones.

Xfinity uses the Verizon network and supposedly is much cheaper.

Changed from Verizon to Spectrum mobil over a year ago. Our two phones were costing us over $150/ month...old plan brought down from up north.
Spectrum’s by the gig plan costs us $28 per month and $14 per gig if we go over.

The switchover was seamless. Had no problems at all.

Spectrum uses Verizon so we are basically using the same network.

Only thing you have to be aware is if you use your phone for data. The extra gig charges can add up.

Thanks, our historical data usage is two gig combined, the third gig would still keep us less than what we are paying now. We use WiFi when available to keep the data usage down. Interesting that Spectrum is 3 bucks per gig less than xfinity.
