I need to move a large refrigerator from one location in The Villages to another, and would appreciate advice or someone who can do this reasonably.
I am told the refigerator must be transported upright. Thank you.

I think Home Depot rents pickup trucks for short duration and I too have heard that you are not supposed to lay a refrigerator on its side because it causes problems with oil in the compressor or something.

I would look for advertizements for handymen.

There is a guy that advertises in the Daily Sun that has a truck and trailer for hire. Look in the ads.

Try Bernie Coluccio at 352-561-4449 H or Cell 518-461-1805
He lives in Bonita and could handle that.

You need a Refrigerator dollie, a flat bed truck with a power tail gate and lotsa muscle to move a large refrig.

Hire someone to do it.

It's been over 30yrs. since I was in the repair business, but back then it was acceptable to transport lying down and let it sit for a few hours to let the oil settle before starting it back up
