Good.

I bet it was a little surprising to some new folks.

Now at least the people who don't subscribe to the political thread can see how............intense it gets.

Not sure which one got moved, but it is too bad that the political crew cannot leave some posts alone.

They should see the flavor of the post and just move on.

It violates the rules of Talk of The Villages to discuss politics outside of the political forum. Feel free to go there and discuss politics all you want. Not in the General forums though.

If you go back and read through the posts from the beginning, you will see that the politics were not started by political regulars.

True! But you did not ignore it. You pushed it. Just leave it alone. So it started out a little political (to you) but it was not meant to be.

Sometimes I think some people are always trying to make non-political posts political.

Before you know it, this post will be moved to political.

Yes, that's right. If anybody objects to the move, it was Tony who moved it. If you agree with the move then it was me.

This is hilarious!! The classic statement by a politician!

I'm just amused by the idea that having political thoughts in mixed company is considered to be somewhat obscene and must be shunted from public view. I'm OK with it, really, and I follow the rules, but, still, I find it highly amusing.

Talk Host moved the thread to the political forum. You have to 'opt in' or join to get into it. There is a box on the left side of the forums you can click on to go join. It will show up on the list of forums after you join. It can get quite heated in there so keep a pair of asbestos shorts and gloves handy. Most 'gators stay out of it 'cause they feel their hide isn't thick enough. Questons are always welcome and statements backed up by verifiable facts will be fairly debated. Make 'drive-by' 'talking point' statements & you get hammered. Vile & vulgar will be dealt with by the administrators.
