...from a TOTV poll taken in mid September. If this (very small poll) is accurate, only 20% are planning to vote in person today. And, like us, 78% already early-voted. Now we can sit back and watch the horse race...

I requested a mail-in ballot months ago and received it in plenty of time to mail it in. However due to the "controversy" and threats to challenge all mail-in votes. I felt it more prudent to vote in person, in advance. So I voted the day Florida opened up for early voting, right before lunch time.
I do use, respect, and applaud the USPS employees and department managers, all year round.

please folks...I said it was a very small poll. Take it for what it's worth. just a small sample. Don't kill Messenger.
I always say re ToTV - someone could open a post "Wow! What a beautiful day out there!" .... and people would respond - no there's a cloud. I woke up with a backache. It may rain later. yada yada....

I hand delivered my ballot on 10/5 and placed it into the drop off box at the election office on Powell Rd. after the "official" there checked that it was properly signed. That wasn't an option on the poll so I selected "early voting" although it was before "early voting" actually began ...... but it was "early". :)

BTW, for those who get the Villages Sun - surprisingly, it was reported that Sumter County had 79% early/mail-in voting as of yesterday. So even my crappy little mini Poll on ToTV... happened to be spot on.

Hmmm, registered to vote in MA, so not bothering to vote. The outcome in my registered state is a done deal, so why risk exposure to Covid when it will not have any effect on the outcome?

I do not believe in mail-in ballots, unless there are medical reasons. I think everyone should have to vote in person. I also believe that in national elections, all ballots should be counted by the end of Election Day, not weeks later. All states should have one rule.
