I know living in The Villages is the dream of many of our members. What other thing would you like to do before the end?

Go to Europe to visit the place where my mother and father were born.
I should have some cousins on my fathers side and I would have to search for my mother's relations
My mother was born in Italy and my father in Portugal,
I had a chance many years ago to go with my father to Portugal but I was starting a new job and couldn't push back the start date.
It would have been nice to go then. Oh well!!!

Run another marathon
Ski the cornice at Mammoth again.
Take my wife to Australia, I have been many times, but mostly for work
Ride my Harley down to Key West over the causeways (have to have an easy one)
Play golf at Augusta National (an almost impossible one)
Visit Argentina wine country
Meet a couple specific world leaders (wont name as you would have to move it to political)

My dad died when he was 29 years old, i promised myself i would not wait to make my dreams come true. After graduating from college, i spent 2 years traveling the world and doing everything on my "bucket list".When i married , i was ready for a career and family and never looked back.I worked throughout college so i could afford the opportunity to see the world.I've gone back to several of the locations, but going first class was not near as much fun.All 3 of my children took a year off after college to travel the world, and they are better human beings for doing so. Mykonos and Tuscany are as close to heaven as you can get.

I'm perfectly happy living in TV, but I also am addicted to traveling. So, I go away for a week or 10 days every couple of months or so.
When I first started a "Bucket List" after my wife died over 10 years ago, virtually every item involved travel. I've managed to scratch off almost everything except two prime destinations: Ireland and Australia/New Zealand.
I frankly doubt that I'll ever be able to go "Down Under!" The 13-17 hour flights really, really turn me off. And, can I really leave The New Cat for a month (the minimum time, in my estimation, to allow for such a destination)? Not too likely! :icon_wink:
Meanwhile, my "Bucket List" also included, once upon a time, "Move to The Villages!" That having been accomplished more than 5 years ago, maybe my list is close to having been satisfied? :a040:

Go to Luxembourg (my father's side of the family was from there), Sweden and Austria (my mother's side of the family was from those countries -- I especially would like to visit Austria during the Salzburg Music Festival).
Also visit Paris again -- I was there 10 years ago, with a former friend, and our disagreements during that visit make me want to return for a more peaceful visit...

Nothing. I have accomplished all of my goals, did everything I wanted to do and visited everyplace I wanted to see. I always believed in doing things while you can. I knew too many people who waited to do things until they retired but died instead.

There are lots of things that I want to do but one in particular. I want to go to Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo to celebrate the Bills winning the Super Bowl. Please.
