I just visited TVs, at the end of October, and loved the Spanish Springs area! Can you please tell me what the "Cruise In" event? Can you give me some details? Thanks so much! Sorry I missed it! Thanks!

I didn't know either, so I searched and came up with this: The Villages Cruise In | FLA Car Shows (https://flacarshows.com/events/event/the-villages-cruise-in/)

I'll have my car there. Nice cars, good music, fun time.

We'll be bringing our Model T Fords, too. After being cooped up since February - we can't wait to take out Tin Lizzies for a spin!

I Never miss it. I still have my eye on a 1965 Ford Shelby Cobra, but it will never happen. Great to see all the beautiful original and restored cars. I had a 1949 Metallic Blue Ford coupe in HS. Lots of fun, but sold it when I joined the Marines. Can't wait. There used to be a great car museum in Mt. Dora call "The Museum of Speed", but he finally closed. The owner used to bring a car to the show. He owned several Porschs, a genuine 1965 For Shelby Cobra and many other vehicles.

Here's a short video for those that are unfamiliar with the event.

In normal times the Cruise In will be one Saturday every month. The cars start to set up about 3 pm and the bands usually start an hour earlier at 4pm. Besides the two beer stands, they add a third tent version on the Sharon side. I've been to some on January with Johnny Wild playing and there had to be 5,000 people. Usually Boogaloo BBQ will have their truck and maybe a couple of other food vendors. It's great to go a few times, I've been to probably a dozen over the years.

They park cars on both sides of the street all the way around the square and up Delmar and down Main Street.

I love them, but I will skip this one until virus is more under control.
