Our attic mounted Winegard® HD7694P High Definition VHF/UHF TV Antenna yagi works well except WESH NBC is in and out....thinking a roof mount could improve reception.

We had the same problem, and tried the same solution. No improvement.
I heard that there is some hill or topographical feature between us and Orlando. So, depending on which Village you are in, or if your home is situated on the top or bottom of a hill, over-the-air may not work. That leaves streaming.

Xfinity works all the time.

WESH is on VHF the rest are on UHF the antenna is probably only for UHF a second VHF antenna and a combiner may solve your problem.

Your attachment is correct and don't believe the B.S.. that community standards tells you about signing a agreement on the deed restrictions.
The state and Federal law Pre-empts this from being enforced other than intimidations by the powers to be!

I have a DB4E attic mounted and pick up NBC almost all of the time. It apparently depends on where you are located. I am between 466a and 44.

Yes, you’re allowed TV antennas. I see few them In every neighborhood I’ve been in.

This is wrong. Look it up. I've spoken to Antenna's Direct and they say there is a low power UHF signal WESH repeater antenna by Ocala
Late Breaking. (Hearst Properties Inc.) WESH, virtual channel 2 (VHF digital channel 11), is an NBC-affiliated television station serving Orlando, Florida, United States that is licensed to Daytona Beach

Frequency of NBC depends on which transmitter you are receiving from.
UHF from Ocala; Hi-VHF from elsewhere.

I highly recommend Ken's antenna. Faith goes above and beyond to get the maximum number of channels.

WESH comes from 2 directions, one is Melbourne, which is 60 mi away. Your antenna should be about 25 feet off the ground.

No problem with Direct TV on roof.

Height off the ground is the key. I am on Glenview GC by Savannah Center, so about as far north as you can get. I get channel 2 perfectly 100% of the time with my garage attic antenna. But my attic is quite tall so the antenna is 18' above the ground.
The antenna is aimed at about 110° I believe, right at the Orlando transmitter.
Also, the attic has no radiant barrier in the way, as the metal which would kill reception.
I installed a signal amplifier where the antenna cable enters the house. It would have been better to install it at the antenna but I didn't have a 110V outlet in the attic. The cable goes 70' or so before it reaches my TV.
So if you can get another 5' of height by installing the antenna on your roof you will have better reception.

Make sure your warranty on your roof is not impacted by installing a Disc on the roof?

I have many directional antennas and it took some time to get the right position set up for the most watched channels. They are slightly different locations in the same general direction. Some less directional antenna may work a bit better.

I researched this. By law you are allowed have an antenna, no covenant can supersede this rule. You can have it on a pole. I decided to not get one but I know I could have. There are several on poles in my neighborhood (I live in Chatham).
