My wife recently found a series that she thought might be interesting, and so she, in her role as commander of the television remote, and I started watching Miracle Workers, a series on TBS produced by and staring Steve Buscemi as God (not some mere mortal who decides weather someone lives or dies, I mean the real deal, the big guy upstairs, the god with a capital "G" God, the all knowing, all seeing, all powerful invisible guy up above -- that god) and his team of miracle workers.
While I'm not usually a fan of television comedies, which I usually find trite, boring, not usually funny, and frequently offensive, we both found this -- at least the first three episodes -- hysterical!
It's broken up into 20 minute episodes (which I assume expand out to 30 minutes to include 10 minutes of commercials when aired on broadcast television -- but that's okay, I know that Ted Turner has to earn a living too) so if you want to just dip a toe in to see if it's something that you might enjoy that's easy to do.
Anyway, will done Steve and crew, and I hope that some of you will enjoy the series as much as my wife and I do.
