This is a strange Q, I thought I'd ask the ToTV readers--

What happened to the stage coaches TV had strategically placed in and around the villages ? (I noticed more near the fenney area and by warm springs.. even one that was facing the FL Turnpike from everglades rec center)

Umm, maybe they were converted to bachelor apartments and relocated to where the buffalo roam.:1rotfl:

They seem to mark where the next development for The Villages will be starting. It’s probably so far South and West now the average Villager can’t find them.

From what I was told when Fenney was just being developed, their purpose was to mark where TV owned land so the connection to the North could be seen. Now that so much has been developed they aren’t needed there anymore

There were never any stage coaches. There were covered wagons marking new development areas.

The wagons marked where they were going to build and it looks like they have started building where they were located.

The covered wagons have disappeared just like our buffaloes disappeared. Probably because some idiot let their grandchild play on them, maybe even the same idiot that let their grandchild feed the buffalo then have the nerve to complain resulting in no more buffaloes. Just saying.

I don’t remember seeing stage coaches but I did see several small Conestoga type wagons. Don’t know where they are now.

They are all parked across the street from Disney World In a empty field announcing the final expansion of TV.

I heard that homeless/squatters moved in then at night and TV didn't want the liability so they moved them into safekeeping.

Nope grandparent lifted child up to the fence to pet a Buffalo. Child was bitten, lawsuit filed shortly after. Buffalo moved to an undisclosed area in TV

You're right about the grandchild but wrong about why the buffalo were moved. Vacant land with animals is taxed as farm land. The buffalos were relocated to other farm land, and the area was developed. Thus paying lower taxes in another area. Len

To there will be no question how far the Villages will develop to they have been moved to Miami. 😅🤣😂
