I recently purchased a home in TV with a bird cage. I also purchased a gas grill and was wondering if I can use the gas grill in the bird cage or is it better to use the grill out of the bird cage. Of course keeping safety in mind. The grill would not be located close to any of the screen material. I did mention it to a bird cage technician and he stated the smoke from the grill may stain the screen material?? Anyone's thoughts would be appreciated.

I do this all the time. The only thing I've noticed is a discoloration of the screen directly behind the grill, no doubt caused by the heat. But, the discoloration is only noticeable at certain angles, and not at all bad.

We’ve used ours in our bird cage for 5 years with no issues.

I just pull the grill to the middle and let her go.

No problem. Bug and critter free cookouts are the best.

No problem as long as you keep the grill clean, otherwise it will become a critter magnet.

Mine is inside the cage but not up against the screen of course.
