Wendy’s is running a special Pretzel Bacon Pub burger. It is as good or better than any burger around. Wendy’s had good fries, but I think they changed the type of fries used.

Wendy's is my favorite fast food place. I like their burgers, fries, chili (especially on a cold day) and salads. I live near 466 so I'm glad they are locating there.

We never had fast food growing up, once out on our own tried couple of times once I moved out. But the additives and preservatives, and texture, just don’t work for us.

But I’m guessing since most here are in their 70s, 80s, and 90s does it really matter what is consumed now, for a healthy aspect.
I wouldn’t think fast food, sodium, sugar, additives and preservatives, could affect your health this late in life by what you eat.

Agree, it’s management, not franchise, when they don’t make employees do there job is slowly goes down till and dies. No better in spainish springs either IMO of course.

Not doubting for a minute about the sign.
However, it would be unusual to build another one there, since it has been announced one is being built at the intersection of US301 and CR 466 about a mile or two to the West.

Good for you! A good friend of mine, who owned 9 fast food joints was asked, What can a person buy in them that’s healthy? He said “nothing “ he rarely ate at his locations just drank the coffee. I have heard it said “it’s easier to give up smoking then given up bad eating habits. I never smoked but I know about eating habits

Worked 3 weeks in June in a hospital that closed its cafeteria and Wendy’s was one of 3 spots open. I don’t like chocolate, so frosty is out. If I eat beef its rare, I make chicken chili, but never beef. It’s about processed food, and sugar that I just wasn’t raised with, that raises havoc.

Even when I drive down 18 hours straight, I pack all food, snacks and water.

Our kids don’t eat fast food, and our grands are vegetarian, so fast food is a NO. Hard to change upbringing for generations

I so agree with many things in this post. I love it when you mention that you still can vegetables. I grew up with a small room under the front porch where home canned vegetables were stored and the BEST relishes too.

And other things from my childhood stuck too, I still am careful and try to repurpose and reuse when I can.

One of the things I love about living here is that there ARE so many people to listen and learn from.

We had our three here at the table too, and thanks to God and modern technology, we too could see the family who now live in Manhattan and London and rural Ohio.

I hope someday I can meet you in person.

I think it is lovely.

Wendy's has some really yummy things for not too much money.

Our family has had only meals at home since March. I will be celebrating with a Single with cheese, mayonnaise, lettuce, onion and tomato and a nice small chili when I get vaccinated and my immunity is assured. Oh. And a Frosty. I am looking forward to it.

We're only about a mile from Trailwinds Shopping and since they opened the Wendys at Trailwinds a few months ago I go through the drive-thru about once every ten days. You can't beat the Classic Chicken sandwich, especially since it's 2 for $5. To me, it's as good a Chick-fil-a and Wendys has the Best Chili around, and this time of year it's great.
