I have a 2011 cart I bought new, never any trouble in nine years. So in July I decided I would add every option I didn't have. Since I have to drive on St. Charles Blvd anytime I leave my home, we have to make turns in the car lane and ride alongside cars in the cart lane, so I've always worried about the small turn signal lights on the front and just wanted to be seen as best as possible.

In July I had Liquid Lights come to my home and put on the deluxe package. That's the white lights over the headlights on the front and all along the side over the back wheel, that's your $400 package. I had the additional red lights added over the back tail lights, which was $125. They're all tied into the turn signal, so when the signal is activated they all flash on the side you're turning red and white. Here they are on in daylight.

My cart came with LEDs that were installed/ wired from a local dealer. The wiring was hanging due to a sloppy job performed by the installer. Always get a 2nd or 3rd estimate, you might save yourself some cash! Enjoy

We have a 2019 & 2020 carts with Liquid Lights on both. I'd recommend them - quality work and they come to you. Maybe a little expensive, but I'm very satisfied.

Todd Casey does a great job with this. He's not nearly as expensive as LL or the dealers and I think he does a better job.

Same with our cart, with wiring rubbing against the tire. Cart Fixer found the issue when doing yearly maintenance, and took care of it

I had Todd Casey come out and put LED's on our cart just a few weeks ago. $225 for LED's under each headlight and from the back of the front wheels to the front of the back wheels. Looks great and he did a great job. Might have him come back and do LED headlights next. The halogen lights on our Yamaha just don't cut it when it's really dark.

If you find really good LED (round ones for yamaha) please let me know, I have LED lights and am considering an additional light. Even in the "high" setting these do not appear to be as bright as good halogen lights.

I used them and would give them a thumbs up. Please do not get the bar that goes in the front that blinds on coming carts though.

Many of the strip lighting companies will drill holes in your cart when installing..They look good when first installed but the lights don’t last forever.... the LEDs will start to burn out and look terrible.. when you take the lights off and you will you have little holes drilled into your cart......... If you are considering strip lights don’t let them drill your cart.... they don’t need to...
led strip lighting seems to last only a few short years if your lucky....

Most all light bars installed properly will not blind on coming carts..... they are just like headlights they will light up the road and you will see better..... If you want to be seen I use mine day and night..... much much safer, be seen and see better. Use LED turn signal mirrors and a LED light bar it may save you life...

We had Liquid Lights come out for a quote on our brand new Yamaha. We wanted the LED strip around our headlights (cat eyes) and then continue over the front fenders. We also wanted another strip along the bottom of the cart and then continuing over the rear fenders all the way to the rear bumper that make the cart easily visible when backing out of a parking space at the squares at night. These lights are on steady with the key but blink with the blinkers. In addition I wanted under cart lighting just for fun - it's controlled by a remote that I fastened to the inside of my glovebox. They quoted us $450 but we offered them $400 and they accepted. They installed everything in about 1 hour right on the spot. Quality work and we're very happy with the outcome.

If your cart is still in warranty, be sure to check with the seller to make sure you aren't voiding your warranty by having "unapproved" electrical systems installed on your cart.

If your less don't last it's because of a hardly designed circuit with over voltage. Good LEDs last 50000 hours

We used Liquid Lights several times and would highly recommend this company. Marc the owner is top notch. They did our golf cart, kitchen bar, and kitchen cabinets. Inside the house, we can use anything from a low white light to changing colors of the rainbow. Worth the money. Their website shows many different applications for their lights. Visit liquidlightsleds.com.

If you get LED headlights get high beam/low beam. I put mine on myself and used the light stalk for switching to cut costs. Only way I could easily figure out was parking = high beam and head lights = low beam. Takes some getting use to.

If you don't mind my asking, where did you get the headlight set from?

I smiled when I saw the above post from golfjuly11. Liquid Lights did all three of my carts and my kitchen cabinets. I also had them put lights on the top from the middle front to the middle on the sides on my carts (I call them halo lights). I did the entire package for the safety and security that it offers particularly at night. I would use no one but Liquid Lights. There number is 352-314-3065.

Agree, I had Todd add the LED’s to our used Yamaha when he was already at our home doing a tune up.
