The best source for info is from the videographer Captain Drone on youtube. He has 170,000 subscribers and has made over 500 videos on drones. Here's his home page video list.

As far as Christmas Drones, he'll tell you that anything less than a $100 is a toy. He did a video in November where he lists the best camera drones under $299. What is also nice is he includes links to his reviews and where to buy the drone.
