Home Theater Installer Recommendation

Before I moved here 4 years ago, I remember reading several posts recommending one particular guy or company that mounted TVs and ran surround sound speaker wiring through the walls. I didn't need his/their service at the time, but I'm buying a house where the home theater setup may well be beyond my abilities. And of course, my searches of TOTV aren't coming up with anything about that. Can anybody recommend someone in the area that does this?

I had the complete surround sound system until my wife finally got sick of speakers hanging of the walls. If you are willing to spend about a grand on a good sound bar you will not miss much and they can blow you out of the room. I recommend either getting a 5.2.1 or 7.2.1 system. They sound great and you no longer have to worry about all those wires and the subwoofers are wireless.

If you are willing to spend about a grand on a good sound bar you will not miss much and they can blow you out of the room. I recommend either getting a 5.2.1 or 7.2.1 system. They sound great and you no longer have to worry about all those wires and the subwoofers are wireless.
In the distant past, I ran a couple of high-end audio specialty stores. I became a bit of an audiophile (some call it "audio-fool") then and it's never left me. To my trained ears, I've never heard a soundbar I could live with. My wife, on the other hand, would be fine with the speakers built into the TV. A grand would be about the average of what each of my speakers run and that doesn't count the much more expensive A/V receiver that powers them. Heck, I've got a full surround system in my man-cave just for TV and video games. Being a snob can be pricey!

I too had posted similar to you a year ago. "Tom" was recommended 5 to 1, so I called him. What a great decision ! He charged much less than Walmart wanted to mount a TV on a bedroom wall and I am sure he did a much better job too. He is just a nice person to talk to as well as his work being so precise and excellent. Like another recommendation I got from this on line community. Had problem with garage door, called WELL ADVERTISED company you see in the papers and in phone book. Paid exorbitant price (didn't know any better at the time !) and problem not fixed. Called Ryan O'Cull and he came immediately, was not expecting that, and fixed the problem completely for LESS money ! Made sure I wrote his number in contacts ! ( 352 617 0522), when people are really fair in their prices, and actually DO the work, I think we should all share their names and information. So many people running around with no insurance on your property, and to add "insult to injury" they don't even fix or do what you hired them for !

Bob's TV/Home Theater Innovations. (John Ortiz, Owner, 352/753-5950) They pre-wired my house 15 years ago and I've been a VERY happy customer ( new TV's, A/V receiver, DVD/Blu Ray players, Amazon Firestick, etc.) ever since.

I suggest you check out Bob's TV and Home Theater. They are on 441N in Summerfield. Very professional and knowledgeable, at least they were a few years ago.
