Has anyone heard of Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Co? If so your experience with them? Trying to find a H/O Insurance Company. American Integrity doubled our rates and yes it is due to the roof. Signed a contract with roofer to get a new roof. So that problem is being taken care but my agent sent me a Quote from Universal and the overall coverage is better but I do not want to switch to them if not a reliable company. Also has anyone dealt with Auto Owner's? We have them here in Illinois and so far so good. Thank you in advance for suggestions

Clifford Insurance represents Auto-owners and Universal Property & Casualty in addition to other companies. Give them a call at 352-245-5455

I had American Integrity since my CYV was new in 2011 until 2018. I started at $505 a year and by 2018 they wanted $985. I looked back and they had raised the premiums 5 times in 8 years and I never had a claim.
I got the policy through Villages Insurance, so I called them. She looked at Progressive (ASI), she said they won't include sink hole, I said keep looking. We settled on a company called US Coastal Insurance. I got the same coverage including catastrophic collapse and sink hole, except it's only 10% deductible where American Integrity was 15%. My first premium in 2019 was $575, over $400 cheaper. They sent a person out who took pictures of the home front and back, but not inside. The second year 2020 the premiums went up slightly to $620. So far so good.
