Played Chula Vista for my first time today and subsequent it's past Monday opening. I found the recently rebuilt tee boxes in a lush green state. Approaches to green all in great shape. Greens rolled a little slower than most courses I recently played. Rest of features all in great shape, including the mostly white sand traps. I noted most holes were 150 yards on gold tees. Course in great shape as should be expected. I also enjoyed the challenge of the tree lined fairways for a change. Don't waste any time if you're interested in playing while in its peak condition.

Chula Vista has been easy to get on because it used to be in terrible condition. Please don't spread the word that its nice now.

Which hole is # 4? Par 4 dogleg? Longer Par 3 with woods on the right? Love that course. My goal is to hit the green on # 9. 0 for so far....tough little hole!!!

No, 4th is par 3 over the edge of the pond to the green fronted by a bulkhead.
