Does anyone know why we have not gotten the Covid vaccine for distribution in Sumter County? They have distributed the vaccine for anyone older than 65 in several other counties including some right around here - Alachua and Marion and also another county at Bonita Beach and Miami as well. They did do vaccines for the developer family and friends here. Is it because they are doing the vaccines for the Sumter prisoners first? I checked with a CVS pharmacist and she told me to expect it in April. What gives? I thought DeSantis said the older people would get it right after first responders.
