Looking for a female pure bred Pomeranian baby. Anyone know of a reputable breeder within 300 miles that I could visit and see the parents too? I would drive there to pick up the puppy. (No shipping).
BTW - I have searched all the local shelters and have been told there are almost never young pom rescue dogs available. So no need to trash me.
Thanks for any info

I wish you the best of luck as I love dogs, but it's a "puppy"...not a "baby". Confusing the two is not a good thing.

I was not confused. A puppy will become a baby in our family. Thank you for your helpful comment.

Logon apomclub.org which is the recognized AKC Pom Club. Contact them and they will have a list of breeders and available litters. Good luck on your search.

Thank you very much. I will look there. My wife wants one badly to spoil. Ours passed away last summer. 14 happy years.

Isn’t buying a purebred dog racist by today’s standards? Should we always strive for purebred people as well if it is so good for dogs?

Its New Years day. Your racist political opinion is yours, please keep it. Most of us already have ours.
Happy New Year to everyone.

Google poms in FL and you will find many puppies available. I've been trying to find a senior rescue with nothing closer than Pensacola but they only adopt maximum 2hrs away

I would be very cautious buying from this breeder. Breeding multiple litters at a time and no mention of genetic testing.

So many dog owners treating their dogs as human.
That is why there are so many badly trained neurotic dogs around.
Happy dogs know their place in the family, ie. at the bottom of the pecking order.
Unhappy dogs try to take over their pack, and turn out spoiled, confused, and badly behaved when in public.
Over half TV dogs I have seen are badly trained.

I don't believe in pack order. Our dogs are treated kindly and respectfully. I owned a dog business for a number of years. Training was 100% positive using treats, toys and praise. Absolutely, no harsh corrections.

Hi, try Animal-aid.com in Fort Lauderdale. I know them well and got an 8 month old pom/chi. The directors name is Tamera. Also, Tri County in Boca raton, Dogs and Cats Forever in Fort Pierce. I know they always have small purebred dogs. A lot of people in South Florida get dogs for Christmas and within two weeks of a puppy peeing in their homes they are ready to give them up. Also, look at purebred rescue. Good luck, please try and save. Just be a little patient, it will happen

OP, in any case be sure you check out the breeder (seniors against crime, BBB, online reviews, etc.) beofre doing any business, there are bad ones out there.

By training your dogs kindly to command, you have established a pack order. You are the boss.
Your dog is happy!

Check the American Kennel Club website. They will provide a list of recommended breeders within your scope. It’s how I found my Havanese.
