Our generous neighbors offered, and we accepted, their 6 ft holly when they landscaped their front yard in early Dec. It was healthy & full of leaves. It is probably a male holly since no red berries. We replanted it in our front , south facing yard, mostly in sand. I've been diligently watering it daily, per U of FL Institute of Food & Agricultural Science. It's losing leaves. Daily. Many. I'm aware of transplant shock & hoping the leaf loss will end soon. Any suggestions, ideas to help this transplant be successful? Thanks!
