I’m seeking information regarding who other Village neighborhoods used for the installation of a free standing protective box for an AED; any other tips about the install are also welcome. Our equipment has arrived and training has been scheduled. In the interim we want to place the boxes so we are ready to go. Thanks.

We had several of our residents volunteer to dig the post holes, mount the pole in cement, put the vinyl sleeve on with light on top and mount the box to the pole. Then we filled the box and locked it with combo lock..
You are welcome to contact me directly.

There is a box in front of our house, we gave a "donation" to fund it. It is locked with a padlock and I have no idea who has the key, who has the training to use it and if the person even lives near it. One of these "great" ideas that wasn't well planned out at all, but it made the organizer feel important so it is all good.

Thanks for your responses. Three of our residents volunteered their muscles and shovels, and are in the process of installing our units (yes, the utility lines have been marked).
