Depends, cheaper online, if you have aluminum mag wheels? then, only few places will do them due to the thick bead which makes tires hard to get off and on without damage, it you have steel wheels locally I say Walmart.

My Yamaha is a 2011 model and I have the original tires on 3 wheels and still look almost new. I only replaced the back right tire because I let the pressure get low and it wore on the edges. Lesson learned, even though you sit on the left side, take a look at the right side every now and then.

I called the Villages Golf Carts at Brownwood about 2 years ago for a tire. They said, bring it in at 7am and leave it and we'll have it ready by 4pm. They said they can give me a loaner cart while waiting so you can go somewhere. I asked the price, they said about $80 tax and all.

I called Tire Choice at Colony, they have a bad rap for trying to upsell seniors when they bring their cars in, but I figured for this I'll give them a try. They said, bring your cart right in and we'll have it ready in an hour and it's $77 out the door. So that is what I did. I walked over to Fiesta Grand and ate, and when I got back my cart was ready.

Walmart at Wedgewood on 466 Auto Shop would be another good choice, but I'm not sure they have reopened the shop yet, it has been closed during the pandemic.

Tire Choice on Wedgewood is a good location as well. I have 12 inch rims. Not all locations carry this size.

Walmart does not do 10” aluminum mag wheel rims for golf carts.

Wildwood Tire on Route 44, right off Route 301. Took 30 minutes. I dropped off tire , went and did some errands , and came back to pick up.

Rehart. What was the cost. I gotta save at least $20.00 if am going to pull and replace the tire myself. I've done like a couple of others drop off at tire choice and get some lunch.

Three weeks ago I got 4 new radial 205/65-10 tires from Tire Choice in Colony. Drove the cart there. Tire cost was $279 and I had an alignment done for $34. Out the door cost was $339.

I waited in their customer room and it took about an hour. I did call ahead for an appointment.

They were courteous and easy to deal with.

The Villages golf courses can provide you a list of approved tires...most local tire shops have this list. Do not buy online until you have this list!

Buy them on line, just get the info off the tires you have now. When you get them, bring your cart to a tire place for mounting

This is what we ended up doing. The quote I got was $313 for four tires. I wasn’t happy that when we got the invoice it showed the price included $56 for Road Hazard which I was told only includes plugging any tire that goes flat. I was told to you can’t opt out of the Road hazard. These same tires are available at Wal-Mart for $48 which would be at least &50- $75 cheaper but we had a borrowed tire from Kart Aid that needed to be returned before Wa-Mart would have gotten the tire.

Funny because my invoice from Tire Choice on Lagrande says we refused a $109.99 alignment. We weren’t asked but would not have done it.

I also have 12" rims. I went to tire world by Walmart off 466. They looked at the tires and said they had no idea where to get them but suggested Amazon. I brought them up on my phone and they had the same low profile tires for $53 a piece so I ordered 4. The salesman was surprised saying they would have sold the tire for $90. They were delivered 2 days later and I called The Tire Guy Andy Robinson Mobile tire repair service. He came to the house the next day installed the 4 tires and did a great job. Price was right also. Wal-Mart in Summerfield mounted two 10” tires for us a couples years ago. I think it depends on your rims.

Be sure to buy RADIAL tires. Slightly more expensive, but way more comfortable and quiet ride!

IMO front end alignment on golf cart is up charge for nothing done except taking tape measure, marking and measuring, 4 to 10 minutes at most. Now if you hit something and bent steering parts, or steering wheel wobbles you probably have worn tie rod ends, or worn spindle bushings which will require front end alignment check. Otherwise it waste of money IMO.

Drives much better and less wobble. He didn't want any money but I had to give him a 20. He will be my go to guy hence forth!

4 new tires at The Villages Golf Cart in Spanish Springs. $320 done in a few hours and they are the same as the ones that came on the cart. Probably could have gotten another year or so out of the old set but why chance it. Safety first for me. They are 10-inch tires on beautiful rims.

He has a compressor and does check tire pressure. Oil and Air filter were changed. He removed the rear tires and serviced the brakes. He recently replaced a fuel pump and cleaned carb on a friends 2011 Yamaha after it had died on the road. leaky Tire might need to be taken
off and brought to a tire repair store for patching. I had a tire patched at Wildwood Tire Co.

I know the size of tires on a new Yamaha PTV ( 205/65-10 ) but I also read there are restrictions on cart tires at the Country Club courses . I realize "all terrain types" might be prohibited but does anyone have a bit more information on the type of tire they are referring to ? New to the villages and will be buying a cart soon and I'd be disappointed if my "new " cart had the wrong tires for CC fairways !!

I had two worn rear tires replaced at the Colony Tirechoice for $124 two days ago. They price matched Wildwood tire who currently doesn't havethe tires I needed and said they had waiting a month.
After driving The cart for a while it was making was making a sound like the brake drum was out of round. Called them and they said come in a we'll take care of it. I asked to have the new tires moved to the front and the manager explained that they are shipped in a way that make them take a few days to get round? While watching the tech work on the cart he said their was a problem with the left axle and I needed to take the cart to Yamaha. When he hit the gas on the cart the right wheel was spinning freely but the left wasn't . I am not sure if this is normal. Is the differential in these thing like a car that only drives 1 wheel? Anyway moved the tires and now all is well. No more brake noise.

I would say Tirechoice did well by me price wise, but now I am wondering about the axle/differential. The tech seemed sincere but I
did have to ask him to go ahead and move the tires, which he did.

It's a 2018 Yamaha Quietech.
