Joe Reed approached our house while I was playing golf and convinced my wife that one of our palm trees had rats!! also another palm had termites. He removed them for $2,600!!! That was an expensive round of golf! When I got home I contacted the bank to stop payment and the check had already been cashed. Please do not respond to uninvited solicitations -- they are prohibited but still operate. Check references and do NOT do anything right away - check things out. Our trees were healthy and we are out the landscaping ($6,000) cost for two trees and the rip-off for the unneeded removal.
