Has anyone used Premiere Cleaning to paint drive or patio? If so, what is your experience? Or, what drive/patio painting services have you used and would you recommend?

four of us on our street used R&B Driveway Solutions over a year ago...company had done quite a few in our area

pleased with the outcome...rate seemed reasonable enough...you pick out the colors and designs that you want

Amy Newsome. She has been in business in The Villages for many years and has hundreds of examples. Highly recommend.

Maybe slightly off topic, but I never understood why someone would want to paint a perfectly good, maintenance free, concrete slab. To me, it is almost as bad as painting a brick house. Adding a maintenance burden to a maintenance free house feature.

Painted surface makes surface dry quickly. Therefore no mold or mildew. Most drives on my street are black after the summer rain, then need power washed. When I first bought the house with a painted driveway, I thought the same thing you do. Now I understand.

Maybe it has something to do with the landscaping, but I have never power washed my concrete driveway and it is not black.

As a newbie I made the horrible mistake of using the jerks at Artisticrete. So so job on driveway and fro t porch but sprayed paint all over my door, screen door and front railing. Called and emailed for months, absolutely no response. Do not consider these jerks.

We used Florida Deck. They were able to start/complete the job on time and while I was away. They did an excellent job, they cleaned up well and now, a year later, it still looks great!

American concrete staining. Professional, artistic mostly female crew. Wouldn’t use anyone else.

Concrete Doctor, Lance Fanthorpe did a fantastic job on my driveway and sidewalk a few weeks ago. Great price and wonderful job. He does a veteran discount also.

(For me) because in Florida, a driveway isn’t maintenance free. It turns black with mold and mildew and must be power washed 1-2 times a year.

Another vote for Amy Newson! Does a great job. Had my driveway painted 4 years ago and still looks terrific.

Baloney. I have been in my house for over 6 years and have not needed to power wash my driveway. You must have allowed the water off your roof to run down from a leader for the mold to grow. Painted driveways are slippery when wet, concrete is not.

It is a wife issue. Too much time. Too much gossip. Logic? You need to decide if it is worth the issue.

Does anyone in TV repair drives that have the thin coat of color on them that have a few places where the coating has chipped off revealing the concrete beneath? One company wanted to strip the entire driveway off and start over.

I have a question relating to these recommendations. I bought a house a few months ago. The driveway has that stamped concrete look. I'm not crazy about the colors. The owners had it painted and stained and sealed a year before. Can the colors be changed to more neutral colors? Has anyone done that?

would you please give me the area/your address, so I could drive by and look at some of the driveways. We have just had our golf cart driveway extended, so now we need to have it, and the existing driveway and sidewalk redone to match. If you are more comfortable with private message, please email me at bpascani@aol.com, and make the subject line read driveway painting . Thank you

my reason is because the house we bought has a golf cart garage, but, like most of the homes here, the driveway for the golf cart is only about 1/4 the length of the rest of the driveway. The rest of the driveway is painted, with a border all around, and a palm tree in the middle of the existing driveway, with the sidewalk matching. We have just had our golf cart driveway extended to the street, so now need to make everything match. I agree with you. I will be ok with just a color all over, that looks good with the house (I do have to say, the bare concrete is ugly)..hubs wants some sort of design, so we shall see, BUT, that's why we have to fool with this.
