He also has a daughter who works with him in Lake Mary. I use Mark for my tax accountant and my neighbor does also. His parents live in The Villages and Mark also owns a house in The Villages. Question you should ask yourself? Do You Really Need to hire a CPA to do your taxes?
Below is the Standard Deduction for the 2020 Tax Year.
Single $12,400.00
Married filing jointly $24,800
Married filing single $12,400
Head of Household $18,650
If your deductions do not add up to the above amounts, save yourself dollars by just taking the standard deduction and preparing your taxes yourself using Turbo Tax or by using a tax prep service like HR Block. Hiring a CPA and taking the standard deduction is just throwing money away. Just a thought.

For the OP (original poster) what non standard tax situation do you have which you think requires all the extra money for customized personal service?

I am not a CPA, but I do my own estate filings, and two years ago did about 6 of them with estates, trusts, deceased inlaws, etc. . . when the CPAs were hard selling us to use them.
