Same experience. I'm still hopeful that Publix has it's act together much better than other organizations and leaders.

There's a message on the site that the same registration process will happen again on Friday at 6am. Can't wait!!!!!!!

I looked at the site. There are no locations in either Sumter or Lake County and all the others are fully booked.

Ditto!
There's a better chance of getting struck by lightning twice in the same place!

I received my first vaccine at my local Publix on Monday. They were very organized and I am grateful to have received it. I certainly had more luck at Publix than Marion or Sumter’s. Incidentally, Publix is giving the Moderna vaccine.

There is a lot of (UNDERSTANDABLE) desperation over obtaining a vaccine. The newly engaged Defense Production Act (DPA) should help. From economics : We have a free good with a limited supply and an infinite demand. It is hard to equalize economically speaking and causes confusion and frustration (as we are seeing). The better strategy for the government would be to create a statewide LOTTERY system for the vaccine doses.

When you went to the Publix site, did you first have to designate “county”, then select the store?
