Hello,
We hope to moving as soon as we can sell our house, although when that will be???????
Are there any tea house in TV or surrounding areas where you can have a nice relaxing "afternoon" tea-hopefully in a traditional manner???? And if so, does it or any other place sell loose tea, and other "tea" items. Thanks you for your help!!!!:smiley: Vicki

One in LSL across from Villages Golf Carts. Under restaurants there is a whole long thread about it.

The Tea Plantation (do I have the name right?) is on Canal Street at Lake Sumter Landing. They have an afternoon tea with cakes, scones, and little sandwiches. They also have bangers & mash and shepherd's pie. :icon_hungry:

Yes, UU, you do have the name right. Its a beautiful place run by a lovely English lady and the food and atmosphere are delightful. As a matter of fact, 20 of us are going there tonight for a Ladies Pamper Party (that's not like in "diapers" but in massages and facials, etc.)

There is another tea house on 301 called Polly's Pantry, and it also is run by an English couple. The food is scrumptious and very English.

I'm not sure however if either of these places sells tea in bulk but they have wonderful gift ideas all over the stores. You will love them.

Thanks to you all!!!! I am always ready to "do" tea. I am so very, very happy that they have some tea places so close to TV!!!!!! I am also always ready to be pampered!!!!!!!! Vicki

Polly's is in Wildwood, going south it is almost to CR44 on the right.
